Pick up at the riad after breakfast at 8:00/9:00 and departure from Fes to explore the high Atlas mountains, the most beautiful and fascinating natural regions of Morocco. A historical and physical barrier between the north and the pre-Sahara. Starting from Ifran to Tidy, an ordered city, considered as the Switzerland of the Middle Atlas. Our trip continues, passing through the Cedros Forest to Azrou, located on a steep hill through a variety of forests. Barbary monkeys are in danger of extinction in these cedar forests. Passing through Tizi Ntalghamtto, where the Ziz Gorges provide a rocky landscape to the Oasis of Tafilalt. We will pass through Errachidia (where they will have lunch and enjoy the Berber hospitality beyond the borders), then Rissani stopping to enjoy panoramic views along the Ziz valley road. Finally we arrive at Merzouga, facing the high dunes of Erg Chebbi. We will have a break time, before we ride on a camel to cross the dunes and contemplate an unforgettable sunset. Arrival at the camp, free time to enjoy the rest of the night. Here we will enjoy a special night, with a traditional dinner, live timpani music and, if there is luck, there will be a starry sky.
Today will be a special day, we recommend enjoying a sunrise in the desert, so this day we will get up early. After contemplating the sunrise, return to the camp for breakfast, and then we return by camel to the Merzouga while we take some rest. We will continue our trip to Erfoud where you can discover fossils and the marble factory. Then we continue until we reach the famous Gorges of Todra, a favorite place for climbers and lovers of trekking, where you will have free time to walk among the gorges and refresh yourself in the river. We will continue towards the valley of Dades through the “Route of the thousand Kashbas” and we will go to the beautiful gorges of Dades, following the course of the river that will take us into landscapes full of strange geological formations, abandoned kasbahs, Berber villages and leafy orchards. Dinner and night in a nice hotel next to the river Dades.
After breakfast we will continue to Ouarzazate, where we will make a panoramic view of the Taourirt kasbah. Ouarzazate the capital of the Cinema, also known as the “Hollywood of Morocco”, so if you are interested in the cinema we recommend a visit to the studios, where many famous films have been filmed. 30 kms from Ouarzazate we will visit the famous kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou (Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO). Free time to walk through the streets of the Kasbah and climb to the top to see the beautiful views of the valley. In the afternoon we continue our way through the High Atlas mountains crossing the Tizi Ntichka pass (2,260m altitude), making the stops you want to enjoy the spectacular mountain landscapes with their stone villages in their valleys or hillsides. We will also visit an Argan cooperative if you wish. In the afternoon we will arrival in Marrakech free time, you can take advantage of the afternoon to know the magical atmosphere of Jemma el Fna square, a unique show .
