Pick up at the airport/port/accommodation in Tangier, which will take a tour of the city before traveling into the small fortress town of Chefchaouen. Chefchaouen is characterized by its construction and all the houses painted in shades of blue. It is one of the most beautiful cities in the north of the Rif mountains. At arrival we will visit the Medina to see its historical-cultural heritage and enjoy its light, its streets, its picturesque square Uta el Hammam, the waterfall Rass-el Maa and, of course, the colorful shops full of handicrafts, among other hidden corners this beautiful town. It will be possible to have a mint tea on the terrace of a café and, after finishing the visit, leave the rich world of Chefchaouen and head towards Fez, the first of the imperial cities that prides itself on hosting one of the oldest universities of the world. On the way we will visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis, very well preserved. We can also enjoy a panoramic view of Moulay Idriss, the holy city. About noon we will arrive in Fez to enjoy the sunset while we visit the walls and doors of his Medina or simply having a delicious tea from the terrace, where we can see the whole Medina. After breakfast, we will leave from Fez to explore the high Atlas Mountains, the most beautiful and fascinating natural regions of Morocco. A historical and physical barrier between the north and the pre-Sahara. Starting from Ifran to Tidy, an ordered city, considered as the Switzerland of the Middle Atlas. Our trip continues, passing through the Cedros Forest to Azrou, located on a steep hill through a variety of forests. Barbary monkeys are in danger of extinction in these cedar forests. Passing through Tizi Ntalghamtto, where the Ziz Gorges provide a rocky landscape to the Oasis of Tafilalt. We will pass through Errachidia (where they will have lunch and enjoy the Berber hospitality beyond the borders), then Rissani stopping to enjoy panoramic views along the Ziz valley road. Finally we arrive at Merzouga, facing the high dunes of Erg Chebbi. Here we will have time to take a break, before the ride a camel to cross the dunes and contemplate an unforgettable sunset. Arrival at the camp, free time to enjoy the rest of the night. Here we will enjoy a special night, with a traditional dinner, live timpani music and, if there is luck, there will be a starry sky.
Today will be a special day, we recommend enjoying a sunrise in the desert, so this day we will get up early. After contemplating the sunrise and returning to the camp for breakfast, we will return by camel to Merzouga while we rest a little before to continue our trip to Erfoud, where you can discover fossils and the marble factory. Then we will continue until we reach the famous Gorges of Todra, a favorite place for climbers and lovers of trekking, where you will have free time to walk among the gorges and cool off in the river. Then we will continue to the valley of Dades by the “Road of the thousand Kashbas” and followed by the Valley of Roses and the Oasis of Skoura. Arrival in Ouarzazate and hotel accommodation, free time and you can enjoy a swim in the pool.
After breakfast, departure to visit the Taourirt kasbah. Ouarzazate the capital of the Cinema, also known as the “Hollywood of Morocco”. If they are cinephiles, we recommend a visit to the studios, where filming of famous films has taken place. 30 km from Ouarzazate we will visit the famous kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou (Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO). Free time to walk through the streets of the Kasbah and climb to the top to see the beautiful views of the valley. In the afternoon we continue our journey crossing the High Atlas mountains, crossing the Tizi Ntichka pass (2,260m altitude), making the necessary stops to enjoy the spectacular mountain landscapes with their stone villages in their valleys or hillsides and we will also visit an Argan cooperative in case you are interested. In the afternoon arrival at the big city of Marrakech, transfer to your accommodation. End of trip and our services.
