Our 4 days Marrakech Essaouira via merzouga start in the morning and we will Pick up at the Hotel at 8:00 – 9:00. Departure from Marrakech through the port of Col Tichka, where we will cross the Atlas Mountains making stops to enjoy the magnificent views that the route offers us. We will continue on our way to Ouarzazate where we will make a stop to contemplate the Kasbah of Taourirt. Then we will find the town of Skoura, located in the heart of the palm tree valley, where you can take a walk through the extensive and labyrinthine oasis, whose lush vegetation wraps precious secret kasbahs and you can also visit the oasis itself. From here we will continue through the Valley of the Roses (famous for the cultivation of them) to the gorges of Dades where we will spend the night. Dinner and overnight in a nice hotel in Dades Valley.
After breakfast, we will continue along the bank of Boumalne, where a road marked by kasbahs (ciudadelas) and ksour (fortresses or castles), whose landscape is ocher, red and mauve, opens. Around us we will find stony plateaus where the dromedaries graze. After a journey full of ksour, oasis and palm trees we will arrive at Tineghir (where the spectacular gorges of Todra are found) perched at an altitude of 1,350 m and surrounded by a palm grove. Free time to walk through the gorges. We continue to Erfoud (city of fossils), where we can see the quarries where they are extracted and know how they are worked then to give them the most varied forms and uses. Then we will arrive at Rissani, with its great and authentic souk and finally, at Merzouga, in front of the high dunes of Erg Chebbi. In the afternoon the camels await us to enter the desert while we wrap up the beautiful sunset that offers some spectacular colors on the sand. This night will be special, since you will live one of the best experiences in the desert, which is to sleep in a Haima in the middle of the desert with all the comforts. Here we will enjoy a great dinner with a beautiful starry sky, enlivened with drum music.
This day, we recommend getting up early to see the sunrise from the top of a large dune nearby and enjoy a typical breakfast in the middle of the desert. Then we will return with camels to Merzouga to take a break before starting the day. We will visit Khamlia, the original village of Mali, where we can relax with a tea while we enjoy a small gnawa music concert. Then we will continue to Ouarzazate via Rissani where we will make a stop to visit its great traditional market which is considered the largest in all the South of Morocco and we will continue towards the beautiful Draa Valley with its millions of palm trees. In the afternoon we will arrive to Ouarzazate. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
