We will start this exciting trip in Casablanca, specifically in the airport Mohamed V. There our driver will wait for you, with a sign where your name will be indicated for the transfer to the hotel. Depending on the time of arrival, there is the possibility of a tour of the city of Casablanca, where we can see the Nations Park, the Mohamed V suare, the luxurious district of Anfa, the Boulevard of the Corniche and the Mosque of Hassan II from the outside. There is a possibility to visit the interior with a cost of 10€ entry (not included). We will continue our trip to the political capital of the country and imperial city: Rabat, arrival at the hotel and free time.
After breakfast, we will visit the city passing by the Exterior of the Royal Palace, where resides the Monarch of Morocco, the Kasbah of Oudaya with a beautiful view of the estuary of the Bouregrer River, the Mausoleum of Mohamed V, with its unfinished mosque, as well as the Hassan Tower. Then we continue our trip to Meknes to visit the capital “Ismaïliana” which has the largest walls of Morocco (40 km). Famous city for its door of Bab Mansour, the Royal stables and the Jewish quarter. Time for lunch ( Not included), we will continue to the holy city of Moulay Idriss, where we will enjoy its panoramic views, and we can also visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis, very well preserved. In the afternoon we will arrive in Fez to enjoy the sunset while we visit the walls and doors of the Medina or simply having a delicious tea from the terrace, where we can see the whole Medina. Arrival at the hotel and free time.
After breakfast at the Riad, we will begin to explore the spiritual capital of the country and our oldest city, Fez. As you immerse yourself in its lively souks, entanglements of photogenic alleyways and historical monuments, we will first pass through the door of the Royal Palace, which gives a peaceful welcome between the new Fez and the old. Then, the Jewish headquarters and the first Mellah never built in Morocco. Then we will start visiting all sites with cultural and historical interest, including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in the region, the tanneries and the Attarine museum. After lunch, we will head to the best area to stay in Fez (Fes el Bali), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its narrow streets and historical monuments such as Medersa Bou Inania and Babb Boujloud (the main gate of the Medina), it is such an exotic place that we can get to move to a bygone era . For shoppers, Fes el Bali is a local craft paradise with colorful Moroccan slippers, works in leather, metal, rainbow glass lamps and tiles that are displayed in stalls throughout the district. In the afternoon, we will visit the new city leaving free time to be known. Overnight in the hotel with dinner and breakfast.
After breakfast, we will leave from Fes to explore the high Atlas mountains, the most beautiful and fascinating natural regions of Morocco. A historical and physical barrier between the north and the pre-Sahara. Starting from Ifran to Tidy, an ordered city, considered as the Switzerland of the Middle Atlas. Our trip continues, passing through the Cedros Forest to Azrou, located on a steep hill through a variety of forests. Barbary monkeys are in danger of extinction in these cedar forests. Passing through Tizi Ntalghamtto, where the Ziz Gorges provide a rocky landscape to the Oasis of Tafilalt. We will pass through Midelt (where they will have lunch and enjoy the Berber hospitality beyond the borders, “not inclued”), then Erfoud and Rissani stopping to enjoy panoramic views along the Ziz valley road. Finally we arrive at Merzouga, where we will stay at the hotel at the frent of the dunes Erg Chebbi. Accommodation in breakfast and dinner.
Once the breakfast is over, we will travel in 4×4 the tracks that used in the “Rally Paris-Dakar”, we will visit the desert nomads with whom we will have tea and we will see the oasis where some movies like “Sahara” were filmed. We will visit the town of Khamlia, named for the slave trade that brought from the Sudan and we will do the tour for Erg chebbi. After the visit at lunch time, we will go to the home of a beberer family, where they will taste typical and traditional food, as well as the rich Al Madfouna (Berber Pizza). After lunch, we head back to the hotel, so they can rest. In the afternoon the camels will wait for us to enter the desert and contemplate an unforgettable sunset. The night will be special, as they will have the opportunity to sleep in a tents surrounded by dunes, as the Berbers do. They will also enjoy a traditional dinner, and after the live drum music next to the bonfire and if there is luck, a starry sky.
Today will be a special day, we recommend enjoying a sunrise in the desert, so this day we will get up early. After contemplating the sunrise and returning to the camp for breakfast, we will return by camel to Merzouga to continue our trip to Ouarzazate, where we can discover a road full of landscapes of charm, kasbas and ksours etc . We continue until we reach the famous Gorges of Todra, a favorite place for climbers and lovers of trekking, where you will have free time to walk among the gorges and cool off in the river. Then we will continue the “Road of the thousand Kashbas” Where we will make many stops to observe and take pictures, followed by the Valley of Roses and the Oasis of Skoura. Arrival in Ouarzazate and free time. Hotel with dinner and breakfast.
After breakfast, departure to visit the Taourirt kasbah. Ouarzazate the capital of the Cinema, also known as the “Hollywood of Morocco”. If they are cinephiles, we recommend a visit to the studios, where filming of famous films has taken place. 30 km from Ouarzazate we will visit the famous kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou (Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO). Free time to walk through the streets of the Kasbah and climb to the top to see the beautiful views of the valley. In the afternoon we continue our journey crossing the High Atlas mountains, crossing the Tizi Ntichka pass (2,260m altitude), making the necessary stops to enjoy the spectacular mountain landscapes with their stone villages in their valleys or hillsides and we will also visit an Argan cooperative in case you want to. In the afternoon arrival at the big city of Marrakech, transfer to accommodation and free time to take advantage of the afternoon. At night, you will enjoy the magic that follows the famous square, Djemaa el- Fna, where we will find from charming snake mystics, hustlers to naughty monkeys that are part of the show that can be seen every night, as well as Berber acrobats, fortune tellers, musicians and captivating narrators seduce the masses. After breakfast, you will have the opportunity to have a local guide to know the most important places of Marrakech, famous for its Jemaa el Fna square, which will occupy much of its time: an amalgam of aromas, sounds and unrepeatable sensations. The city also has countless places to walk and enjoy: the Jardines of Majorelle, Menara, the Saadian Tombs, the walks through the Medina or Mellah (the old Jewish quarter), the route of the walls and the modern city (Gueliz) with their western ways of life. After lunch, enjoy a relaxing afternoon to explore the imperial city of Marrakech in your spare time, perhaps while you watch the people in Djemaa el-Fna and buy some local souvenirs. Or maybe you are interested in experiencing a traditional Moroccan hammam or a hot bath. The rest of the day off to enjoy Marrakech in its own way. Night in the Riad. Dinner & Breakfast.
After breakfast, we will pick you up at the agreed time and begin our trip to the Atlantic coast, bound for Essaouira, the old Mogador. On the way we will cross immense forests of Argan, from where the precious oil is extracted and we will be able to see its elaboration in some of the cooperatives that exist. This town was an old Portuguese citadel and behind its walls, hide many picturesque places full of history, you can start discovering it, at arrival you will have rest of the day to explore the city of Essaouira. You can choose between a wide and varied sample of activities that are offered on the beaches of the city. There is the possibility of touring the beach on horseback, quad or if you like to walk, make an extensive walk on the shores of the Atlantic. Reach up to your coastal dunes or sunbathe. It also offers a wide range of water sports such as kite surfing, wind surfing or surfing itself, jet skis, etc … If you opt to travel the streets of the medina, you will find numerous shops, artisans and artists who offer their works at a good price. Famous also for its fishing port, you can taste the excellent fish and seafood that is extracted from its shores. Free afternoon and night in a charming riad.
After breakfast, we depart for Safi, an old Portuguese fortress famous for its sardines, ceramics, we made a brief visit. Then continue along the picturesque coastal road to Oualidia, a serene fishing village, where we contemplate the tranquility natural lagoon of sea water, separated only by a sand bank formed by the wild waves of the Atlantic. Oualida is a simple coastal town located outside the most touristic circuits of Morocco with a mild climate and a slow pace of life. It has been traditionally dedicated to fishing and oyster farming: in fact, its main attraction lies in the maritime landscape and gastronomy. Located a few meters above sea level and has an elongated lagoon where you can navigate and where the bathroom is quieter than the restless waves of the Atlantic. You can also enjoy delicious lunch in this wonderful place, (not included) . Then we will continue our trip to the city of El Jadida, a former Portuguese colony. Free afternoon and night in a charming riad.
After breakfast, you will have the the morning free to explore this beautiful city at your own pace. It is one of the most charming cities on the Moroccan coast. It has a beautiful coastal landscape in addition to having a preserved Portuguese citadel. Protected by UNESCO and surrounded by a crenellated wall with bastions, which can be accessed by the Rue de Carreire. Very close to this Rua, next to the walls, we find the Door of the Sea, which is where merchandise was introduced to the city from the boats. Near here is the old Spanish church of San Antonio de Padua. In the afternoon we will depart along the coast, towards the north, after several stops, we will arrive at our destination Casablanca. Depending on the time of arrival, we have the possibility to take a tour of the city. Accommodation and free time.
